Pie Crust

  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ stick of butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vinegar


Mix flour and salt. Cut in butter with the paddle on the mixer, or using two knives and your hands, until it is in tiny pieces.

Mix milk and vinegar together. Let sit for a minute. Mix into flour and bring together. Don’t overmix. Add a little more milk if the dough is too dry.

Gather into a ball and let chill a bit in the fridge. Cut in half to make 2 pie crusts or a bottom and top.
